The Department of Media, Journalism & Film at Missouri State University anticipates an August 10, 2015 opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in New Media and Interactive Design.
Required:
Ph.D. or MFA in interactive new media or related discipline. Degree must be completed no later than August 1, 2015. Professional experience in multimedia or interactive design. Able to teach a variety of classes in new media, including: web design, interactivity, mobile applications, and multimedia journalism. Experience teaching at a college level; 2 years professional experience working in new media or multimedia production; and expertise in one of the following areas: video game design, advanced interactive design, is des! ired.
